BCBC Meeting: Spring, Summer, and Swarm Management with Burton Beasley
The April meeting will be on the second Monday of the month.

Come early for a workshop on catching swarms!
The workshop begins at 6:30pm, and the meeting begins at 7:00pm.

Burton Beasley is a NCSBA Master Craftsman Beekeeper, Eastern Apiculture Society Master Beekeeper, past 2nd VP and Regional Director for the NCSBA, and past President of the Gaston County Beekeepers Association. He is also the owner/operator of Beasley Honey Co, managing colonies in Gaston, Lincoln, and Henderson counties for honey production, pollination, nuc production, queen production, and products of the hive.

His insightful presentation will provide an overview of swarm management techniques, splits, using swarm cells for queen rearing, and swarm trapping.
