Buncombe County Beekeepers Club (BCBC) is hosting a 1/2-day seminar.
The seminar is an introductory level presentation to help those interested in bee keeping become more knowledgeable and a basic comprehension to help them get started in this fascinating and vitally important hobby or profession.
We will discuss why do you want to keep bees, what to expect your first year, bee biology basics, as well as how to get started, startup expenses and a variety of other information. Experienced beekeepers will be on hand to show attendees hives, tools, equipment and to help answer any questions you may have.
The seminar will be held Saturday, November 4th from 9am-1pm. The location is in the River Arts District at the Home Gauge training facility, 122 Lyman Street ,Asheville, NC.
This is a free seminar, although donations are asked to help defray costs for this seminar.
