We are writing today with some tragic news about
the loss of one of our members. If you have not heard yesterday Sarah
Mckinney was involved in a fatal accident on I-40.

From the
first days of meeting her at Wild Mtn. Bees to every time she spoke at
our club meetings Sarah was alway willing to impart her knowledge and to
give back to the beekeeping community.

It goes without saying that her energy will be missed by all who have had the pleasure to talk,laugh, or spend anytime with her.
She was a true asset to our club and all NC beekeepers.
Please
keep her and family (Willow and Zoe)in your hearts as we try to figure out any way we
can help the easing of the heartbreak and pain following such a sudden
and tragic loss.

The board is looking at ways we can honor Sarah and we will keep you all in the loop. As well as what the family would like as a way to mourn and pay respect to her being.
