It’s January! Time to talk BEES! – BCBC January meeting is Queen REARING!

Can you believe its already January 2017? We’re all starting a new year already! For beekeepers it seems there’s never a ‘new year’, only a change in seasons as watching over our bees is a never ending commitment!

This year we have many great things planned for our members. New workshops, Mini-workshops, more hands-on learning opportunities as well as a broader and deeper commitment to beekeepers than ever before!

January’s meeting will be a presentation by Greg Rogers of Haw Creek Honey on queen rearing! February’s meeting is Oxalic Acid use and application, presented by Brushy Mountain Bee Farm!

It’s also time to renew membership as well! For the first time we are offering online renewal of memberships! Memberships can be renewed at https://wncbees.org/join-us . For new /first time members, please print the BCBC 2017 membership Form, complete it, and bring it to the meeting with you . Especially if you are joining the NCSBA as well.

Please come join us in 2017 for another amazing year in beekeeping!
