Presentation Title: Norroa™: A New and Effective Approach for Varroa Mite Control (Pending Regulatory Approval)

Norroa™ is suspended in a sugar syrup pouch, applied directly to the hive. The treatment becomes part of the brood food consumed by developing larvae. When the foundress mite hides under the larvae before capping, she comes into contact with vadescana, Norroa™’s active ingredient. This unique compound acts like a key fitting into the Varroa mite’s biological lock, triggering a process that halts her ability to reproduce.
